899

The Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD), a joint partnership of the International Astronomical Union and the South African National Research Foundation, seeks inspired individuals from any relevant background for its fellowship program.

These fellowships can be carried out either remotely or, in some cases, on site in Cape Town. A fellowship grant will be awarded depending on the project, as well as qualifications and agreed time commitment.

All applications should be submitted electronically to [email protected] in the form of:

  • A brief CV (including references), and
  • An 1-page motivation.

The motivation should include a description of the project they propose to work on, the time that would be committed to it (e.g. 6 months full time, 3 months part time) and any related logistics that may need to be considered. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
