It’s here! Our second singularity talk is right around the corner, and this time, we have invited four distinguished speakers from NoRCEL (the Network of Researchers on the Chemical Evolution)!

Sohan Jheeta will discuss how vital organic molecules of life may have formed in space and then delivered to Earth and will talk about his astrochemical research which focuses on the formation of molecules under a variety of simulated space conditions such as different temperatures and levels of radiation energies. ☢️Elias Chatzitheodoridis and Christos Georgiou will discuss Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) which result from abiotic processes, and how the lack of ROS on planetary soils, which can be detected by the novel device OxR, may actually be an indication of life and/or biosignatures. 🦠  Martin Dominik’s talk will revolve around the question, “Is life a fluke or a direct consequence of universal principles?”, and he will discuss how our approaches in identifying life beyond home is far from research-based, and how we must develop new terminology to guide our understanding of the Universe providing a mirror to our existence. 🌏

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!
