Prior to NoRCEL’s becoming a more comprehensive global network,
we held four conferences in our previous incarnation – as the:
Network of Researchers on Horizontal Gene Transfer and LUCA.
The prime aim and objectives of the 'Network of Researchers on the Chemical Evolution of Life' are to promote and disseminate research information relating to the chemical evolution of life on the Earth, from the advent of prebiotic chemistry through to the emergence of the cellular life forms, namely Archaea, Bacteria and Eukarya.
