MEARIM7 is the triennial regional conference convened under the auspices of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in November 2025. Co-organised by the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS), the University of Jordan, the University of Sharjah and the Network of Researchers on the Chemical Emergence of Life (NoRCEL), this landmark event brings together leading voices in astronomy, space science, education, and science policy from across the Middle East, Africa, and the wider global community.

The conference aims to nurture cross-disciplinary dialogue, build regional research capacity, and catalyse innovation to address urgent planetary challenges. MEARIM7 also serves as a platform for showcasing scientific excellence, engaging the public, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within space science domains.

This year’s programme spans twenty thematic tracks, including:

• International Cooperation in Space Research
• Astronomy Education and Curriculum Design
• Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Astronomy
• Exoplanet Discovery and Observational Astronomy
